Current Yoga Classes

My current hot yoga classes at GoodLife Fitness on Weber Street in Waterloo are as follows…

Mo – Foundations @ 7:15 pm
Tu – Hot Yoga @ 9:30 am
We – Hot Yoga @ 6:00 pm
We – Yin @ 7:15 pm

Fri – Yin @ 10:15 am
Su – Hot Yoga @ 10:15 am

Meditation classes – Thursdays 7-8pm (no charge, registration required)

Yoga Therapy: for back pain. Available for private instruction.

    Can you tell me more about your Foundation class on Mondays and do I have to belong to a club to sign up?

    1. Hi Eva,
      Thank you for your message. The Foundation class moves a bit slower and is not as intense as my other classes. Focus is on the breath, proper alignment, some strength work and a nice stretch followed by a welcomed savasana to finish off the Monday! You do not need to be a GoodLife member to participate in the hot yoga classes. Just stop by the club to purchase a hot yoga card/class passes. Let me know if I can help further.

  2. Hello Nirala,
    I have bad arthritic knees. Would you recommend this Foundation class for that? I am very stiff all over from not moving much and need to start stretching and strengthening my muscles. Can you come and join in any week or do you need to start at the beginning of a session?

      Thanks for your enquiry!
      You can come into the Foundation class at anytime! This class is a mix of standing poses for strength and other poses for stretch. It is held in the hot yoga studio at a temperature of 106F/41 Celsius. If you’d like to target stretching only, my suggestion is to try a (hot) yin class. The Foundation requires a bit more movement whereas in the Yin you don’t move much…except when you leave the room at the end of class. šŸ˜‰ It’s difficult to determine which can work for you, so do come in, let me know who you are, and we can go from there.   3. Hi nirala, Iā€™m interested in the thurs evening meditation classes. Are these held at GoodLife as well? I am also wondering if you have any spots open for the January retreat in tobago?

    1. Hi Cheryl,
      Thanks for reaching out. The retreat numbers on this site are updated regularly – 5 spots available for January. The meditation sessions were offered at a private club and now completed. See me at class re: Fall meditation sessions. Thanks, nirala.
