Arnica is commonly used to treat bruises, pain, aches, sprains, arthritis, osteoarthritis etc. In addition to arnica oil, the EarthSplash arnica balm also contains St. John’s Wort and comfrey. These oils have scientifically demonstrated their effectiveness for the topical treatment of pain, inflammation and swelling of muscles and joints in degenerative arthritis, sprains, and strains after sports injuries and accidents. Also noted are their efficacy and safety for treating minor wounds and burns, sunburns, abrasions, bruises, contusions, ulcers, myalgia, and others.
