  1. HI,
hihi, I am the first to comment, lets see if everything works the way it should.
You should put a little something into your profile, love the picture though.

BTW, love the pic of the boys.

Have fun, enjoy and fill your mind (with useful stuff).

Email me if you need help.

  2. Impressive blog! Love the picture of the boys, and your profile pic.
I believe this trip will be your awesome life experience, and once you can resonate with your teacher, you will be back there again.
Be safe and enjoy the experience!

  3. Nathalie, thanks for your help in setting up the blog! I will do my best to fill my mind with 'useful stuff' 🙂

Le, thanks for the support. I still can't believe this is happening!

Mom, I'll be fine (once I conquer my fear of travelling there alone). Besides, 'change of mind' is not part of the refund policy on the travel insurance.:)

  4. Hi Nirala,

How exciting for you. Today is the 2nd of January, so you must be at your destination by now. Want to hear all the details. Happy New Year!

    Love Karen

  5. Hi Rala,

Sounds like the first week will be the adjustment period. Glad you have `nice' girls sharing the room/bathroom. Is the ashram responsible for cleaning the room/bathroom? A reminder to carry your passport bag on your body everywhere you go. Mom

  6. Still looking forward to reading your first post. Did you have a chance to go to the city last weekend? Is it COLD where you are?
    Thinking of you,
    Le xx

  7. Hi Le,

Yes, I've been to the City now 3 times. It is certainly great to get out of the daily grind/routine. The City is not that interesting …but it will do as a getaway spot! 🙂 The days are quite warm, about 28-30C but the nights and mornings are cold…about 8-10C…but that is nothing like Ontario. I would describe it as Summer in Ontario.

  8. Hi Rala,

We are so blessed to have everything we want (not need) and more. I read your comment and it brought me to tears!! If only you could see one of the orphanages – the children's faces will stay in your memory forever. I can't wait to see the pictures. Take care – Mom

  9. Hi Rala,

I'm sure `your boys' have started the countdown until you get home – I have! Best wishes for the last hectic week and will talk to you soon. Mom
