We don’t make connections with people anymore. Either we’re too busy, can’t be bothered, or just don’t know how. The daily ‘communication’ of “hello, goodbye and thank-you” does not provide any depth into humanity. Connections occur once you look beyond someone’s cover page.
I have been privileged to gain the trust of some who share their story before or after a yoga class. Some stories are very humbling, some are funny, inspirational or heart-warming. Some people are just plain downright boring and normal, and that’s good too! Watch out! You know who you are, I will be looking for your story! The wide variety of experiences that come together in one class deserves to be captured and shared.
For the next while -assuming I get more than one volunteer- they will be featured here.
